So here is a brief overview...

The classic red dress was by ASOS via an eBay retailer. It was already asymmetrically cut however I further cut it to the correct length. It's not quite the same as the film version having only the one strap but it's my personal take on the outfit.

I teamed the dress up with a pair of basic black shorts from Pineapple (shock horror, thankfully the logo was hidden under the dress, I couldn't find an aubergine pair anywhere so black had to suffice).

The boots were Dr Marten's with the laces and labels tucked in, not at all like the film's plainer boots but seemed to work perfectly.

Finally the most complicated and time consuming part was cutting and styling the FreeTress wig (model New York Girl 3T613 for those that are interested). I had to initially cut this on another persons head and finish it on my own. Despite what the instructions said it's not advisable to heat style it, I almost ruined the wig doing this.

The gun was kindly lent to me by a friend. I kept the makeup simple and natural as per Milla Jovovich's in the film and added the scar that appears on her left shoulder (visible in most of the pics).
