|The S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games are set in the "Zone" around Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine during strange phenomena which occur after Emissions occur - Stalkers work to find artefacts which cause radiation but provide amazing powers such as healing wounds or resisting energy such as fire, while avoiding magical anomalies which burn, electrify, throw you around or a whole host other things and the mutants, bandits, army and secretive Monolith soldiers. There are also factions fighting over the zone in other ways - Mercenaries (hinted at being from non-soviet-block countries trying to get a hand in without political drama), Duty (who want to destroy the zone) and Freedom (Who want to preserve it)|
I'll base this off one of the games normal Stalkers, out for themselves. I'll probably ignore weapons (weapon rules/boring/hard to make or expensive to buy), but instead go for artefacts, some decent armour (SEVA suit, Exoskeleton perhaps) and a "working" detector if I can work something out.
Still a start of an idea, from a series I love! (go play it if you haven't!)
