I've always wanted to cosplay Jareth, the film has been my obsession since I was five when my Nan bought me the VHS tape!
I blame her for my Bowie/labyrinth addiction :)

I started with this fairly basic cosplay instead of throwing myself in at the deep end but I am defo going to have a go at creating the other cosplays from the film seeing as I haven't fallen out with this one yet! (Yes I sometimes fall out with my cosplays, DEAL!)

I have the crystal ball and everything and have made my own pendant from MDF all I need to finish is the cape or cloak with the bone detail on the back which I plan on making out of polymer clay.

Everything else is pretty much sorted (thank god for EBay). The most expensive thing was my wig!! It had to come all the way from Australia (of all places) so it's fair to say that's where most of the investment was but I guess that's the price I pay for bring picky... The other raw materials such as the faux leather and blue satin material were pretty cheap really which Is why I tend to make all of my cosplays from scratch because it more often than not turns out so much cheaper than buying parts!

I will be debuting this cosplay at MCM in Manchester at the end of the month, if anyone is going let me know!!! We can cause trouble together! I will of course be joined by my friend Emma who will be cosplay as Toby but sadly my Sarah can't make it so I'm going to have to woo someone else! Love to see you there guys!!!
