| (Added 28/06/2008. :) Worked on and off since then, hence why it's taking so long!) When I started cosplaying, I set myself on a mission to cosplay every single one of Aerith's costumes, because I love her that much. I was looking forward to Crisis Core coming out, especially since I got a PSP for my birthday in 2007. Now that I finally have a copy of FFVII:CC (thanks to my wonderful boyfriend <3), I want to make Aerith's outfit in it my next Aerith cosplay! And I already have suitable shoes, which, of course, is always a must for cosplay. It always starts with the shoes for me! | |

05/04/2009 - Shoes 100%! (Posted 5th April 2009) My shoes are now completely finished for this cosplay! :D I ended up choosing to paint the flowers on as I've not been able to find any suitable decorations yet, and I had paint at my disposal already. I think it looks rather cute! No photos of them yet, though, because the paint is still drying! |

03/04/2009 - A teensy bit of progress (Posted 3rd April 2009) My sister (look for her, she's Mungojerrie!) recently gave me a painting set that she said she would probably never use, but I don't think either of us had any idea how old it actually was. So, seeing as today was the start of my easter holidays, I decided to break open the paints and see what they were like! As the red paint was still sealed, it was therefore fresh, so I mixed it up with some white paint I had left over from the bottle my boyfriend bought for me a while ago until I was happy with the shade of pink that I was making. I've just finished painting the shoes, and I'm extremely happy with how they've turned out! Now, if only I could just find some flower decorations to finish them off... |

20/01/2009 - Sooo... (Posted 20th January 2009) I haven't QUITE finished sewing the blue patterns to the dress, because I messed up and sewed it to the lining accidentally. I got all frustrated because I've been working on it all day, so I decided to unpick most of what I'd done wrong and I'll finish it when I'm in a better mood. It's looking alright; I've no idea how it looks on me, though! |

19/01/2009 - Finally! (Posted 20th January 2009) Today (jeez, it's been a while!) I decided that I would at least try to start the blue patterns on the dress. I refused to use already-made patterns, instead choosing to make my own from ribbon. Well...I started at 2PM, and finished at 11:30PM, meaning I spent 9 1/2 hours making them. Wow. :| To make the patterns I used ten metres of thick ribbon, at least twenty metres of thin ribbon, and a whole lot of patience. I would like to thank the Disney Channel, Cartoon Network and Transformers for keeping me entertained (and sane) while making them. 8D Tomorrow after I've been to college, I'm gonna sew the patterns onto the dress. :D Hopefully there will be photos! |

15/12/2008 - Whoops. (Posted 15th December 2008) 5:00PM It's looking much better this time, though. I'd say the shoes are about a third of the way through. :D |

09/12/2008 - Omg? (Posted 9th December 2008) 5:00PM Jeez, I haven't worked on this costume in ages. I really need some free time! _______________________ 8:05PM |

I've been trying to do this and failed 5 times. So I'm really looking forward to seeing this, because I love the dress!
Will you be wearing this to any conventions or expos?
I might be wearing it to the September Midlands expo. :) But, I haven't actually decided for definite about that expo yet! I keep my Cosplay Island up to date so if I decide to wear it to a convention, you'll find out. ^_^
Aww! You look well cute as Aerith! Will have to steal you for a Crisis Core shoot!
Excellent Aerith. I can't wait to see it finished.
