| Just putting this up because I'm going to do this version eventually anyway. Wanted to do this first before doing trance but people were doing the original or Dissidia version, so this was "on Hold". I'll be making him as accurrate as possible to his in game self, while also adding a bit of the Amano design. Though really, that would only be on the crotch piece because it looks better and would be more simplistic to do rather then try and make one big full piece on the crotch that looks out of place against all the prettiness. We shall see. XD | |

WIG HAS ARRIVED! (Posted 7th September 2009) AAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHH!!! It is here! But needs ALOT of work! It's not as nice I wanted it to be, but the colour is good and it's a style I can work with. Now I'm just waiting for the feathers to arrive so I can add those. Shots shall be coming soon along with a look at how I hav started my base. I'm buying some materials this week and shall be getting my shoe base for the boooots! THE BOOOOTS! I'm very much looking forward to gett the wig done though, oh yes oh yes!~~ |

Starts now and Hair Debate~ (Posted 10th July 2009) OMG I CAN ACTUALLY START KUJA THIS WEEKEND! 8D I am so very excited since my friend has so kindly bought me the Papermache Pulp stuff I needed from the internets when we found it HALF THE PRICE in Hobby craft (Weird, yes, Good HELL YEA!) Anyway, going to get the base fabric this weekend with my homie, since I also got some cash from some very loving relatives that came over from America. 8D It could very well buy all my materials, though not likely since I'm saving some for Toko and such, but meeeeh. ALSO! The ever lasting hair colour debate went on inside my head tonight since Iam not actually tired for some strange reason after feeling particularly ill during the morning. I seems that Kuja's hair colour is infact rainbow in every picture you see, the Trance actually being the ONLY colour that seems to stick. But I have actually figured this out. After watching ALL the Kuja clips numerous times, my brilliant detective skills have brought up the fact that Kuja's hair is....... Actually MADE from silver. >( Oh yes folks. nah, I'm actually kidding. Anyway, the actual base colour is very much SILVER. But with their uber skills, they for some reason decided to make it shine every freaking colour that's about. In Burmecia, it reflects the colour of the whole area, making his hair look a very dark grey. When facing Queen Brahne, the tops of his hair proves to show a very like silver grey, but at the tips, it shadows and also reflects the purple from his top. How I can tell this is because if you watch the "locks" of hair move, you can actually see the purple shift to the light grey and into white for the pure shine. His actual in game version is also blue because that is the colour that is usually used to shade in grey or a reference close to black. Though in his case it's grey. The very same actually applies to Dissidia Kuja only they actually dipped his hair in blue in the artwork and gave it an actual light grey base that darkens in the opening movie clip instead of the apparent shiny chrome head in the actual game. So I have decided light grey and I know where to get it from. Sorry I rambled, but I needed something to do at this time at night. o_____o |

Fabric (Posted 22nd April 2009) I just found the PERFECT fabric for Kuja on Ebay and have just bought it. So Normal Kuja will definitely be appearing this year for October Expo or what else this year. I just died of happiness when I saw it and it was at a wonderful price too! However it may be a bit shiny bit I can fix that with my flattening spray. Also figured I'd buy some paper clay at some point decorate it so he has the solid gold edges as shown in the pictures. Of course I'm open to other ideas. XD Hopefully this isn't gonna hold back Grell... >.> |

I'm really looking forward to this. Your going to pull this off so well. Especially after seeing Trace Kuja.
Sugguestion for the hair. How about doing a base of sliver and then adding small blue streaks, hightlights. The sliver underneath will making them shimmer.

I was actually thing of making some dye that would "darken" the wig slightly and have a bit of blue in it @3@ But I guess it also depends on what the wig looks like when I get it XD
Doing some streaks dont sound too bad.
