BofI was the first manga I read and started to collect waaaaay back. Rin has been on my wish list for as long time now and I'm finally pulling my finger out LOL.
I'm always nervous about cosplaying rather than crossplaying, I suck at portraying female characters. XDD I'm also nervous about the fabric painting I'll need to do on the bottom of the kimono and the sleeves. Fabric paint hates me. =/

Awesome! Good to see some Blade of the Immortal cosplay :D

I doubt i'd bring Manji out of retirement but I still want to cosplay Shira someday XD

When are you planning on wearing this for?

This should be for Aya, doubt it'll be finished in time for Minami.
I wish more people would cosplay from this manga because there are SO many awesome characters!

Fabric Paints (Posted 13th June 2009)

Okay, I've been dreading this part. I did breifly think of doing the flame decoration in applique instead of paints, but it would look too bold and drag the eye away from the rest of the costume.
So far it's looking good even if my fabric paint skills do suck. I'll pop up a photo when it's done.
