Hat and wig (Posted 18th December 2013)

Hat stays in place using hair grips sewn into the sides.

Final details (Posted 18th December 2013)

Added the foam cover to the microphone and the large pouch to the back. I also sewed in two hair grips to keep the hat in place.

Garrison cap complete (Posted 14th December 2013)

I added red trim and a small badge made from milliput which was painted.
I inscribed 'FBC' on it, since there isn't a reference clear enough on what the design is.
Will be stitching two hair pins into either side of the cap to fix onto the wig cap.

Large pouch/holster (Posted 14th December 2013)

Using leather spray I changed the black holster to dark brown, and fixed the large leather belt loop part to the side to hang on the belt.
For the large back pouch, I modified a quilted purse, added faux leather, a faux fastener made from milliput and belt loop.

Cap progress (Posted 14th December 2013)

I made a pattern template of two parts. I used a light weight interfacing with the same fabric used for the epaulettes, made the one piece into a band to wrap around the hat and sewed the two parts together.

Belts and accessories complete (Posted 8th December 2013)

The shoulder strap stays in place with a small piece of sticky velcro, since it sits over the epaulette rather than loops though it.

The large back pouch and pistol holster have yet to be added.

Belts and accessories (Posted 8th December 2013)

The narrow high waist belt was modified with small snap fasteners and belt loops added - this was attached to the double mag pouch hanging from the shoulder strap.

The 2nd double mag pouch hangs from the middle belt, lose on the waist. It stays in place with a snap fastener attached to the bottom belt.

The bottom belt (painted black) holds the holster and a medium and small pouch. The belt loop detail was made from scratch using faux brown leather with stitch detail added, this is wider than the belt.

The large back pouch and pistol holster have yet to be added.

Pouches, buckles, belt detail (Posted 8th December 2013)

For the bottom belt that holds the pistol holster, I made the belt loop detail from scratch, using faux leather and snap fasteners.
For the double mag pouch (originally brown and changed to black with leather spray) that hangs from the shoulder strap, I attached four buckles with small straps - connecting the pouches to the shoulder strap and the high waist narrow belt.

Hand mic/head set (Posted 8th December 2013)

I bought a hand mic speaker for a phone, removed the large wire, attached a smaller wire coming out the top that is held down with a small belt loop. The mic clips easily onto the shoulder strap.
The head set microphone still need's a foam cover.

Radio/head set (Posted 8th December 2013)

I modified a walkie talkie for the radio, taking it apart, replacing the aerial, attaching a head set microphone, painting it and making a pouch that fastens onto the shoulder strap with a snap fastener and belt loop.

Accessories: watch/bangle (Posted 8th December 2013)

Accessories: watch/bangle

Shirt (Posted 30th November 2013)

The shirt was shortened so that the skirt fitted nicely over it. Shirt was taken in, buttons swapped, princess seams, epaulettes and a neck tie was added. Faux pockets were added from scratch using the fabric from a second shirt to match.

Smith & Wesson (Posted 26th November 2013)

Airsoft pistol

Wig - inverted bob (Posted 13th November 2013)

Chose a medium brown inverted wig and trimmed the fringe and sides.

FBC armband (Posted 29th September 2013)

Pretty simple, band of white fabric with red trim added, made a stencil from acetate sheeting and used fabric paint, adding some snap fasteners.

Shoes (Posted 21st September 2013)

Bought a new pair that weren't patent and made the strap thinner, removing the old one and making a new one from pleather using velcro to fasten.

Skirt complete (Posted 18th September 2013)

Skirt was taken in at the sides by quite a bit to get it fitted high on the waist, I sewed up the original back slit and removed the elastic tie from the waistline. I added a new slit in the back, made the hemline higher and sewed bis tape down the front and back panels.
Shirt will need to be taken into too and pockets added, plus the shoes need altering with a thinner strap (bought a second pair that aren't patent) and darker tights are needed.
Also the belt that will be worn high on the waistband will hopefully help keep the skirt in place.

Skirt/shirt (Posted 27th July 2013)

It was cheaper to buy an over large pinstripe skirt - one I could modify to fit high up in the waist. I need to add matching pockets on the shirt too.

Footwear (Posted 5th May 2013)

Easy enough.
