Corset? (Posted 31st May 2013)

I've seen several pics of GLaDOS cosplayers wearing corsets and I'm wondering whether lacing this over the suit might be a good idea. I'm thinking I can maybe attach the corrugated tube/s from the headpiece (which is growing ever more heavy and lopsided), some cables etc to it rather than just having them all just dangle, it might help with a bit of support. OK, so some of the cabling will need to just dangle for movement/effect...but not all of it.

Latex applique work. (Posted 30th May 2013)

The suit has arrived and I'm really pleased with how the customisation has turned out. Ok, the lower line of the logo is in a in bold version of the artwork font but I'd been warned that the original version was likely to be too fine for laser-cut applique anyway so I'd been expecting that. The alternative was to print the logo onto the latex which would have meant having a box around it and I really didn't want that. I love how the 'iris diaphragm' part of the logo works too, very happy all round :)

Headpiece progress. (Posted 9th April 2013)

I've been working up a few ideas in rough using just cardboard and tape. I'm pretty happy with my progress so far but it still needs a fair bit more work before I commit to cutting any plastic though.

Wig has arrived. (Posted 21st March 2013)

A cute white bob :)

Aperture logo (Posted 15th March 2013)

I've made up some clean artwork and emailed it off to be appliqueed onto a white catsuit. T'm told there's around six weeks wait on custom work so I've plenty of time to start on the headpiece.

Starting. (Posted 10th March 2013)

I'm probably going use these boots rather than the leather ones you can see in some of my other pics as I think the rubber looks more 'high-tech'. They don't have zips which makes them a real pain to pull on but once you're wearing them they have a nice sleek fit and are surprisingly comfortable.
