Description
This dress comprises of a small 4 bone crinoline/hoop, a large bustle bag. Hot Pink cotton petticoat with box pleated edge trim at the bottom of the petticoat. Main skirt & bodice is made from Pink polyester Taffeta fabric, about 6 metres approx. Two main pleats either side of the centre front of skirt facing backwards. Skirt has an overlay of Soft Ivory Tulle/net, decorated with small clear Swarovski flatback crystals. Bodice is boned and contains stiff corset coutil, with spiral boning. Two layers of delicate lace for the bodice front, decorated with small roses. Ivory net tulle used on the skirt was used for the frill's on the bodice as well. The train was smade in 3 parts, and the two bustles were stuffed with net. Flower garlands were made by hand using florists tape and artificial flowers. Plus some old lace decoration on the garlands. Bottom of train is lined with crushed Cream coloured Taffeta, I sewed mine to the main outer train, though it should have been a seperate piece designed to stop the main train getting dirty. Wig was styled by me and bought from seller called (darcinut) of ebay.

HI All, this costume will be on DISPLAY at my costume exhibit in WEM Town, at Thomas Adams School Stanier hall on the 4th APRIL 2013 10am - 4pm.
