| Yes, it may have been a buggy, silly game, but it was also fun. And Alicia's design and sarcasm appealed to me. The main materials used were suedette which I love working with, with the details done in gold thread and gold paint. I based the top pattern off a halterneck top I owned, and added the extra collar on. I ran out of time to finish the gun, so it's still in it's pathetic half-started form in a box somewhere, and missed a few details off the costumes such as the top of the sleeves and hair beads (which I left at home ;_;) I wore her top a bit more modest as I didn't want to flash me bra! Boots were also sacrificed for time :( I think 2 people recognised me for the entire day I wore her, but it's such a comfy costume and when any wind happens, you just feel kick-ass with tails flapping in the breeze! | |
