Because I love Kiki and I need something simple and comfy to wear to con parties and behind stalls. Plus, I want red pumps just to wear anyway and I have a ton of red fabric left over from my Sunnycon 2 contest cosplay.

Kiki's Witch Dress Reference Board (Posted 18th February 2014)

Reference Board.

Finished Dress (Posted 7th March 2013)

Fits well now, still needs an iron... meh, I'll do that before I pack... It's hard to take full-length photos of yourself, so it's just a wee sneak peak. But yeah, that's without the proper wig (just my own hair) and accessories. I can see me wearing this a lot! :)

Dress (Posted 7th March 2013)

Basically because I have spent all my monies on my Sunnycon competition cosplay, travel, accomodation and on supplies for the Blood/Sugar Cosplay stall (also some new not-cosplay clothes cos of needing to be not nakey) I couldn't really afford to buy more fabric, so instead I just bought the biggest navy T-shirt I could find and altered it. Of course, that was only a viable option on account of me being so short that a 4XL tee is long enough to be a mini-dress on me. lol. This is only the 2nd or 3rd garment I've attempted darts on and I'm still getting the hang of it. Needs an iron, but, meh, later.

Bow (Posted 6th March 2013)

Took me about 10 mins to make, and it only took that long because I was faffing about dancing to Aqua tunes. Technically I'm still waiting for the hairband arriving in the post, but it's just a slot in, 2 sec job, so I'm saying it's done. It's just balancing on my head in the pic. I have to say that I am fricken' adorable with a giant bow on my head. When the wig/hairband/shoes/bag arrive I will make a super cute Kiki. I don't usually blow my own trumpet like that, but dayum, I suit this character. Maybe I should do more Ghibli cosplay...
