Boots and Future Fabric (Posted 20th March 2013)

I just recently came upon Fabric.com and it is so amazing. I found both stretch and a Vinyl fabric in Kelly Green. I also found some boots on ebay from Paintingyes. I think they might help me look more like a ten year old boy and less like a 18 year old woman.

Vest, Belt and Suit Update (Posted 17th March 2013)

I received my spandex Zentai last month, but I didn't update or anything because I was busy getting ready for a convention. I expected it to be too big or too small, but it's just right and it isn't even custom size! I'm more average than I thought. I also cut out all the patterns for the utility belt, but the belt buckle was ruined and needs sanding. I'm also figuring out the hood on the cape, but I'm getting pretty lazy. And I am working on getting the materials for the gloves this week.

Vest Update (Posted 21st February 2013)

Here's a picture of what I've got so far. I had originally sewed the sleeves on the vest and attempted to create the vest illusion. It didn't work AND it's lopsided, but you can't tell when I'm wearing it. I can't get much don't without the PVC or whatever I'll end up using.

I'm thinking about making the sleeves and pants Vinyl, but not the torso. The undershirt will probably be a mid-riff/belly-top to make the costume more comfortable.

I got some left over Red Pleather from my Arana costume, plus the fabric from my sisters Robin costume. I really like the fabric, though I'm not entirely sure I want to use it just yet.
