| This took me a surprisingly short amount of time considering it was my first serious cosplay attempt! I really enjoyed the 'making' part of this. The gun, the charms and the sword were so enjoyable to make! The skirt was difficult to get to do what i wanted it to, and the top admittedly is from when i was 9. An old dancing costume! But i altered it dramatically- added the collar and the lining of the collar/sleeves, added the belt hoops. | |

Fully painted and completed gun (Posted 16th January 2013) Very proud of this, actually. I love painting things other than faces. I made the handle/grip look like wood with darker lines and things :) |

So I fashioned the belts.. (Posted 12th January 2013) I made the belts cross at the back (i still need to sew them like that though!) and i attached the scabbard to the woven belt/sling. Put my babydoll top on, too :) |

I literally have no life (Posted 11th January 2013) All my friends have gone back to uni and I have another 10 days before anything remotely interesting is going to happen. So here i am at 2am painting and sewing away |

Katana doneeee (Posted 11th January 2013) Had to paint the 'blade' to make it actually look vaguely like metal, I painted the handle and guard black, took off that terrible black lace and used my old handbag's strap cut in half as the XXX part of the handle. I painted the scabbard mahogany coloured and added the cute little snow flakes onto it :) |
