| I've been going over this costume in my head for ages, and I've been saying to myself "do I... don't I" The problem being I wasn't sure I could do Cheria properly. But seeing as a friend of mine is planning Sophie for Ayacon I thought what the hell!! Hopefully be starting this one early to make a good enough go out it to be happy with it. (I'm NEVER happy with my costumes) Wig to be commissioned by Koiice. Skirt and Boots, Pre-Edit (Posted 21st March 2013) Just a quick journal entry really to show the very little progress I have made with Cheria so far. The skirt is alot shorter than I expected, but I think, for Cheria, it works well... I'll just need to make sure I wear purple pants and avoid walking up stairs I think! The skirt needs to be dyed purple and have a the edging put on. |

Skirt (Posted 5th March 2013) I found a skirt on Ebay which I thought might be ideal for Cheria, as she wears an incredibly shirt purple pleated skirt. This skirt is white, but that would be easy to change with simple fabric dye I'm just waiting to hear from the seller as to whether to get a a S/M or M/L size because I don't understand US sizes |

Boots (Posted 25th January 2013) Finally decided on a pair of boots for Cheria! I thought at first that they were too tall, but the measure at 12" tall, so they are a mid calf high, just like Cheria's :) Boots have arrived. They're very comfortable and now all I need to do to them to get them finished is add the criss-crossing and big bow on the back :) |
