| Rei Ayanami's plugsuit was my dream cosplay! (I've practically wanted to do it since I was twelve years old!!) Now I've finally done it! :) I'm so happy with how it came out, considering this was my first bodysuit/plugsuit type cosplay! My mum and I worked hard on it together. Everything wasmade from scratch even the head gear! Its made out of 4 way stretch vinyl. No pattern was used. The whole outfit was a case of trial and error! We remade the breast plate 3 times and the shoulder armour twice before we were even happy with them!! I researched the outfit for MONTHS before even attempting it! And then made it very slowly for May 2013 when I wore it to DOJ-CON in Dundee. I hope you guys like it too!! I want to remake parts and make some parts better for the next time I wear it. Also I want to make the lance of longinus. :D So hopefully there will be more pictures soon!! | |
