| I've used recycled materials for the helmet(paper mache baloon technique) and I have discarded the idea using red paper for the colouring, I will re-layer to get rid of the bumps and wrinkles plus fixing the helmet. I recycled a green Sprite bottle for the visors of the helmet. I now plan to spend pva glue to re-layer and cover the whole helmet so I can make it look shiny. At the moment this helmet is messy and needs patching. Since this is a big costume I will put a lot of sponges in the helmet. I will buy a red morph-suit or something like that, pink scarf, white turtle-neck jumper for underneath the red morph-suit, going to turn black latex gloves inside out for the gloves with gloves inside (so i dont have sweaty hands from the latex materials). I will buy some wellies and paint it white. I will also buy a red goatee. Finally if I have time I will make his six cannon, which will be made of cardboard I originally wanted to make zero from Megaman x but my helmet was too big and too round, this lead to me thinking of Viewtiful Joe. I chose his Tatsunoko vs. Capcom incarnation to differentiate myself from other Joe cosplayers. It's a shame Joe will never be in another game but he'll be in our hearts, this is for you Viewtiful Joe! | |

Shopping today (Posted 14th January 2013) Spent £9 on Wellies which will be painted over, £19 on a red morph suit, need to find a way to remove the head but allow the zip to function, I have an idea how to do this ;-p . Found some unused latex glove, turned it inside out for the colour white. Just need to fix the helmet. Need to but a fake goatee beated and colour that red along with red paint and white paint. Considering getting rid of the visors they look bad |

Looking good so far Dan!
thanks sam
Using a filler such as car body or even polyfiller might smooth out those bumps. Then get a belt sander on it and polish up. If you use spray primer and then give it a coat of paint it'll come up as smooth as metal. I used the same technique on my mask you see in my picture.
Hmmmm, thats actually not a bad idea, ill remember that forfuture
