I really wanna do a mammoth project this Spring and I always would like to create something like this. I really grew to like Kaworu...alot! Considering doing the 'You can (not) advance' version. Might have considered the NGE version a bit more if it appeared a little more (those nerv clips are kinda cute on him ^^) and the 'You can (not) advance variant wont be as fun without a Shinji. Normally I shy away from contact lenses but I would like to get over my fear of them for this costume to complete the look. Yeah im crazy and this will take tons of time (plus my sanity) but challenge accepted!!! I am slowly mentally planning how to do this and researching but wont be making an official start until later on. Considering either 4 way stretch vinyl or Neoprene depending the cost and what I can get a hold of and gonna have to look into pattens. I am looking into foams and other materials for the armour. I might have a friend going as a Eva Unit so possibility well be doing it together. Hoping to début for late 2013 or mid 2014.

Aah brilliant choice, Kaworu is a great character.
And I know what you mean about wearing contact lenses, good luck with this! =)

I adore Kaworu and would love to see his plugsuit version cosplayed. Definitely perservere with the contacts, they can really improve the look of a costume.
