| I drew this idea up earlier in the year. I adore spike :) I didn't want to google any images of what anyone else had done since i wanted to make up my own idea w/o any influence. Sometimes i feel like i let what others do influence my own work too much. I wanted to have the satisfaction of creating something completely from my own head if that makes sense. This only took about an hour or so to draw up. I figured i'd do something classy yet very simple. I purchased the patterns for both the bolero and dress since i was able to pick them up for $1 each. Ironically i ended up googling images after the fact and only found a few people doing this. One girl had somewhat the same idea except all she did was use the same coat spike did, a skirt sorta like mine, and a really poofy, long, curly green wig. I was happy to see that others had tried this. I just dont know how this will turn out in the long run but we'll see. | |
