|I wouldn't have done this costume if it wasn't for the LeBlanc to be honest XD Although it's cute, it's kind of plain, but it did well when I wore it for bowling a little while ago for CrystallineKnight's party. I've made two of these now (the first one was sold on the internet), and the first one I wore as Lenne because I had really long hair then so I still have the earrings somewhere. This is actually a really really old costume as I originally made it for a halloween party I had a long time ago (was it maybe four years ago? I think I was 13 or 14 but I'm not sure!)|
Items made: Top with side skirt, skirt, arm warmers, wig, microphone, earring
The top is made from blue jersey, the sideskirt made from drapey satin (the FMV version seems to be all white), and the skirt is made from sumptuous lace. Because I’m shy, I doubled over the fabric, but it would be more accurate with just one layer. The arm warmers were made without drapes because those were made for bowling, but the actual costume has drapier arm warmers. The ponytail was stuffed and has oodles of red cotton to get the effect, and the earring was made on a grip to slide into the hair or wig and was hand-made from polymer clay and painted the right colours.
I wore this costume at KitaCon '09 which was this costumes first convention even though this costume is really old! I enjoy wearing it as it's very comfy. Sorry to everyone who I confused: I was LeBlanc as Yuna (???) (as in the opening FMV) around the convention and I was Rikku with Yuna's garment grid in the J-Factor. Not once did I admit to being Yuna and I still stick by that because I don't really like her personality at all >__<
