|Okay, I know I have my own unique incarnation of Sarah's Ballgown already listed as in progress, but this one is slightly different. My labour of love is taking forever to bead and finish, so now that I've got a little madam to look after too, it's going to be delayed even longer. So, after much fretting and stressing over it, a certain fairy godmother and her small army of goblin workers, acquired this one and passed it onto me. |
It's screen accurate for the most part, right down to the iridescent skirt (which is perhaps the part I most…dislike out of the original movie design), and was made by a very lovely lady called Ashlee Hackett, who wore it with great success at Dragon Con. That's why it's amazing - because I had nothing to do with it!
I still need to sort out the hair, namely the colour and headdress, and shift some weight, but it's pretty much a done deal. I can only say I'm thoroughly grateful that I have such a lovely fairygodmother with marvelous connections!
