| Oh I do love to troll myself! For 2013 I have decided to throw a few projects into the air and this one dropped into my lap. Its a nice mix between Armor & Fabric (unlike the Judge magisters I was set on) and gives me a good point to pull textile strengths together with armor weaknesses. That said the helmet will be the most important piece, what with ventilators, as I want to get the proportions correct. Especially when it comes to the rest of my body. I'll be working with fabrics to bulk out my own torso in places as i'm too skinny to pull off full armor (hence why lots of nice thick gathered fabrics will be used) Materials wise i'm going to be looking for advice and tutorials on light weight, efficient & ultimately cheap ways to make the armor. This will be a slow burner and will require a lot. Nothing like i've planned thus far. Should be fun. Its about time I did something a little more resolute with my cosplays. | |
