| Although I’m not that keen on a lot of the New52 redesigns, I really liked the new Enchantress in Justice League Dark. For DoJ-Con, Caranth decided to go as Pandora and I wanted a New52 character to match. Since I’ve already done the old design, new Enchantress seemed like a fun idea. This costume was really comfortable to wear, if a little cold. The body and hood are jade shot taffeta lined with polycotton. The sleeves are a mint chiffon and there’s a linen underskirt that’s not really visible in the photos. Everything was really simple to make and came together without any real problems. The wig might be my favourite part of the costume, it’s beautiful! I definitely need to find a way to reuse it sometime. | |

Dress finished (Posted 10th April 2013) The dress is finished and the hood has been attached. This was really simple and a lot of fun to make. Took an evening or so of Disney movies (which should be an official unit of time). The main body is jade shot taffeta, it looks a bit garish under flash but is pretty enough in person to make up for it. |
