| So many Les Mis costume feels. Seeeriously. I really want to do my favourite character...Javert...but i'm doubting my ability to pull him off. So for now i'm going to go for one of my other favourites. I just adore the cynical revolutionary. O_~ I'm not 100% sure on the version yet. I really love Hadley Fraser's version, but I'm holding out on deciding until the film comes out. Maybe a combination of the two! :3 For a group next year. Please let me know if you're interested in joining our crusade! EDIT: Okay I saw the film and I'M IN LOVE WITH THIS VERSION. So film version it is (easier to get refs too!) Planned for the Saturday of May expo. We have a small group BUT I WANT MOAR so let me know if you're interested. | |

Shirt (Posted 6th May 2013) The shirt for Grantaire is done! I don’t think you understand just how flouncy I made those sleeves. THEY ARE THE FLOUNCIEST SLEEVES EVER. (It’s better than an OPPPEEERRAAAA.) Just the waiscoat, necktie and belt to go! :3 |

Trousers done (Posted 28th April 2013) Grantaire’s trousers are doooone. Drop front trousers take more work but generally I think they’re easier to make than fly zip ones…or my pattern for these is better. xD These came out fine and they look alright on the hanger but on me they’re a little…uh…let’s just say i’m really hoping the waistcoat and belt combo helps to make me look less frumpy. |
