Description
I saw Brave last night and I really love Elinor's character and design! I adore characters who can keep effortlessly cool and graceful under pressure, and her relationship with Merida is adorable and realistic~ Also, awesome ladies. Also, I read somewhere that her green dressed was based on Ellen Terry's costume for Lady Macbeth, which was beaded using beetle carapaces! While I probably won't be killing a lot of beetles, I'd quite like to take textile/decor inspiration from the Ellen Terry dress, as I live quite near her house and have actually seen it!
