|Although the costume was first bought pre-made, I had to make quite a few changes to the outfit due to wrong measurements and small imperfections, so I don't really take credit for this as I could've made it myself if I tried.|
The costume consists of a kimono style top fastened by a sash with a bow attached at the front; along with a knee-length skirt, black over-the-knee socks, ankle accessories and a large bow attached to the back of the wig. I still need to buy the correct boots, or I could attempt making them.
This is my favourite cosplay so far, it's quite comfy, although I have to be careful that the top doesn't fall as it sits on my shoulders.
I'd say the hardest thing about the whole cosplay is styling the wig, after cutting loads of the bangs, it's still too long, so I'll have to fix that by Manchester MCM Expo.
The first convention I wore it to (London MCM Expo May 2012) was unfortunately a very hot day, so it wasn't very nice being stuck in a building full of sweaty people in cosplay. :S
