| [GEEKS NIGHT NOVEMBER 2012]✔ [SUNDAY OF PLYMOUTH EXPO DECEMBER 2012]✔ [SATURDAY OF MAY MCM EXPO 2013] [SATURDAY AFTERNOON OF OCTOBER MCM EXPO 2013] Debuted: 28/11/12 Retired: -/-/- With Sally Jupiter being my favourite female character in Watchmen, and with her costume in the movie being my favourite throughout, I really wanted to try out the costume, to do her some justice. I'd seen so many really lovely cosplayers as Sally, and I wanted to join and try it out myself. I'm so glad I chose her to cosplay, as I love wearing the costume, and I love being in character as her with my Watchmen group. I also think that cosplaying her has sorta, built my self confidence in a way, and the way that I feel about myself. And as for the wig, it's the most beautiful thing, with so many thanks to Lozzie~ I've really loved the process of getting all the things together, and gradually building up the progress of completing the costume. It was so exciting when it had all come together, and I realised that, if I may say so myself, I did a pretty great job. And the amount of compliments I've recieved so far make it all worthwhile. It's really great when people recognise your character, and compliment you on your effort into the costume, it makes the process all so amazing, and entirely worth it all. Plymouth Expo gave me so much confidence as Sally. And she's definitely got to be my favourite costume to date. I adore her, I adore my costume, and I thank Miss Jupiter for giving me this new confidence! | |
