| Basically, it shall be Belle's new design with some little emu touches, such as roses instead of the buttons. Edit: Okay, so the plan for the dress is as follows: Gold satin for the bodice with crystals. Bodice will be lined and boned and done up at the back with a zip and a hook and clasp at the top. Gold satin underlayer for the skirt. Will also have crystals. Light gold chiffon overlayer with glitter on the underside. Sleeves and sash around the dress will be a glittery gold fabric. Buttons around the dress shall be gold satin roses. One rose at the top of the bodice with two gold buttons either side. Gloves shall be gold satin. | |

Hair Test (Posted 17th May 2013) Had a bit of a mess around with my 3/4 curly wig and my hair today in an attempt to recreate Belle's hair. It's a bit messy and the bun needs to be higher, but I like how it looks :3 |

Complete Roses! (Posted 13th April 2013) Crystals have dried, meaning that my bodice is now 100% done! Now I get to tackle the skirt . . . oh hell |

Pegs are useful! (Posted 13th April 2013) The crystals didn't want to stick to the smaller roses, so I added generous amounts of glue and held them in place with clothes pegs until they dried :') |

Sash attack! (Posted 11th April 2013) It looks like a giant sausage! xD I used some cheap crappy fur (the white stuff for Vanille's boots) to bulk out the sash and then stitched the two lines over it. Crystals will be going over the seams but for now, I'm leaving it. Wanna get this thing done! |

All the layers coming together (Posted 11th April 2013) Finally managed to sew all the layers together, now I'm hand stitching the final layer to the zip so that the zip and stitches will be hidden. |

Bodice Start (Posted 9th April 2013) Now starting on the proper bodice which will go over the base bodice. Hand sewed a line of crystals onto the centre seam as the centre seam is always the most obvious seam on Belle's ballgown on all images of it. |

Base Bodice Done (Posted 8th April 2013) All finished! Fully boned and done up with a zip at the side. Really proud of it. My first corset! |

First boning channel done (Posted 21st January 2013) This is my first time boning a bodice so it's very much trial and error. The channel is a little too wide so that needs to be sorted. The shape of the base bodice will not be the shape of the final bodice! |

Boning (Posted 20th January 2013) I'm having to make my own boning caps as I can't find/afford any. I've simply stitched some felt over the filed down boning piece. Let's hope it works. |

Base bodice pattern pieces cut out (Posted 13th January 2013) Cutting then base bodice out of a strong fabric which will be covered up but allows for strength in the bodice. |

Cheap fabric! (Posted 12th December 2012) Gold satin fabric found in the bargain bin at my local market for £1 a metre. so I got 5 for now. Will be used for the bodice and skirt. Skirt will have a chiffon overlay. |
