Yuna's dress has been one I have wanted to do for ages, so I started with the plan and made a list of materials.
The hardest part was her wings, I created a skeleton of pipe cleaners which i wired the feathers into place. I used two types of feather one smaller fluffier and one large for the tips.
This then joined the back of the dress at a bouquet which i clipped to the back of the corset.
For the dress i bought a plain white corset and added crystals which resembled the pattern on Yuna's usual outfit.
The bottom half was simple i bought white feather trim which i attached to the satin. However because of the glue used in the feather trim My sewing machine is now dead.
I enjoyed wearing this however the wings were a little restricting and eventually back ache kicks in for wearing a corset for ages.
I have learnt a lot and my next cosplay for the October and May expos will be Erza from fairy tale in her heaven's wheel Armour.
