wip1 (Posted 11th May 2013) shorts, skirt, belt and weird metal thing :) My first time using bias binding (on the skirt)and a lovely crinkle chiffon material (for the 'leg puffs'). The hardest part of this was choosing the colour. I needed fabrics that looked good together and compromised between the Skirtzzz design and original colour of Merida's dress. I'm pretty happy with how this costume is looking so far. |

Hair (Posted 19th April 2013) 3 months after placing an order and 3 attempts later, my second wig has finally arrived! It is absolutely worth the wait. I can't wait to get wefting. |

Dat Hair! (Posted 6th June 2012) I might have got a little ahead of myself and bought a wig for this costume already. :D A bit nearer the time I'll buy some extensions and have a go at adding them in to make it bigger. |

Ah, Merida is so cool! I would have chosen her, simply for that hair :3
The hair is epic, also ever since they announced that the new Disney princess would be Scottish I've been dying to make her.

Are you not going to do the massive killer hair? I might skimp on that bit of Meg as... I just can't do that, lol.
Nixie: I'm going to try my very best. I'm not sure its physically possible to put enough hair on one head though. ;) Meg's hair is pretty terrifying but you could probably afford to skimp since theres so much armour and other bad-assery.
And I think the weight would pull it off my head lol!
And yea, just a big suggestion would be ideal for Merida. Your wig is pretty though :3

I am excited to see this! I have normal Merida on my list n I have 2 wigs to buy for that, wig science ftw. Gotta love cosplays with wigs that eat your head :D~
