|I want to do this cosplay as I love the colour scheme and I want to wear this alongside springinstep's Kotetsu.|
Officially started 13/06/2012 when trousers were bought for the cosplay.
The easiest part was buying the accessories and socks.
The hardest part was styling the wig; it's not exactly in the style I wanted but still looks good.
My favourite part is the colour scheme in general.
My least favourite part is how the buttons on the tie don't match the colour of the shirt.
This cosplay was very comfortable to wear and got a really good reaction when going around with Kotetsu. If I could improve it I would like to remove the hole marks from the hat where I removed the popper.
The black hat was bought from eBay seller obzezzion and I removed the popper from the front. I then used masking tape as an aid to paint on the red stripe with fabric paint.
--WIG + BEARD--
The base grey wig was bought from eBay seller xinxinstar001, I trimmed it to the right length, and used a method with Got2Be spray, gel, and a hairdryer to style it.
The beard is drawn on with grey eye-liner pencil.
The red shirt was bought from Dorothy Perkins, and I replaced and added black buttons on the collar.
The waistcoat was made by cutting out the main panels from grey and black fabric, then sewing them together and hemming. I then sewed on the part on the back with the buckle, the part on the front, and the 3 buttons.
The black tie was bought from eBay seller ecitygo, and I sewed on 8 red buttons from the bottom of the tie.
The watch is already my own.
The bracelet was bought from eBay seller jopo_21cat.
The ring is from my Mum's stock that she sells that she let me have.
The wristband was made using red-cluster's tutorial here - http://red-cluster.deviantart.com/art/Tiger-and-Bunny-Call-Wristband-Tutorial-279280556
The belt was bought from eBay seller brilliantbeltsuk.
The trousers were bought from Tesco, and I reduced the flare on the lower legs by pinning how reduced I wanted it and re-sewing the seam.
The socks were already my own.
The base brogue shoes were bought from eBay seller soyoushoes. I masked the red stripes with masking tape and painted a few layers of red paint, then removed the masking tapes and applied a few layers of black paint to the rest of the shoes.

Wig Styled (Posted 24th October 2012)
The wig was bought from eBay seller xinxinstar001, and I used a method with Got2Be spray, gel, and a hairdryer to style it after trimming it to the right length.
Waistcoat Finished (Posted 24th October 2012)
I cut out 1 panel from black fabric, 2 panels from grey fabric, then sewed them together to form a waistcoat and hemmed. Then I added the part on the back with the buckle, the part on the front, and the buttons.
Shoes Finished (Posted 23rd October 2012)
I only needed to paint one more layer of black on the tongue and soles, then when that was dry I threaded in the black laces.
Shoes Progress (Posted 22nd October 2012)
I finished painting on the layers of red, and now I'm painting on the layers of black. Done on the top, and next will be to finish the painting on the tongue and the soles.
Bought Items Acquired (Posted 22nd October 2012)
I now have all the items that won't need modifying:-
The socks that are already my own.
The belt that I got from eBay seller brilliantbeltsuk.
The wristband that I got from eBay seller jopo_21cat.
The watch that was already my own.
The ring that I got from my Mum's selling stock.
Tie Finished (Posted 22nd October 2012)
The tie was bought from eBay seller ecitygo, and I sewed on some red buttons from the bottom and evenly spaced.
Beard Tested (Posted 22nd October 2012)
The beard is being drawn on with grey eyeliner, and this is a test of what it'll look like.
Wristband Finished (Posted 22nd October 2012)
I painted on a few layers of the red stripes so it would cover the edges too. Then I secured the wristband around my wrist with velcro.
Shoes Started (Posted 20th October 2012)
The brogue shoes were bought from eBay seller soyoushoes. Using masking tape as an aid, I've painted on the red first with 2 layers. Will need atleast 1 more layer until I start painting the black on the rest.
Wristband Started (Posted 20th October 2012)
I cut the wristband out of black foam sheet, and it's been painted with 2 layers of black paint so far. If that's enough, next is painting the red stripes.
Hat Finished (Posted 17th October 2012)
The second layer of paint came out really well that I only needed to paint on one more layer.
Hat Started (Posted 15th October 2012)
I've painted on two layers of fabric paint using masking tape as a guide, and I'll need to paint one or two more layers to finish.
