SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooo Here's costume attempt 2. :3 Getting a bit more excited this time..


I always loved Sailor Moon to bits, I have to do something for this, but all the sailors are easier to buy than make, so I'd lose the will.. ;A;
But then I saw this tiny off-shot from one of the episodes and my brain was like: AWMFG DOOOOOOO IIIIIIIIITTTTTTT.

So I am. :3

First time out! (Posted 16th September 2012)

AND I FORGOT THE BLOODY FLUFFY THINGS. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

So yeah. Quite chaotic but I have some proper photos now..

Okay, so with the whole ' MY BODY IS NOT PROPORTIONED ;A; ' problem, the dress is a little baggy around the top. I think a little makeshift belt will hold that together.
I've got some extra ribbon for the necktie, too.
I'm not sure what I'm gonna wear on my feet ( No wai am I going barefoot ;; ) or how to make the necklace but I'll figure that out some time soon... *heheee*

Oops. I sorta started today and sorta finished today as well.

Lolwut.

I'll put pictures up soon... It's kinda big around the top so I'm looking to just casually add a belt at some point..

IT HAS BEGUN (Posted 21st June 2012)

So, I've started. C: This thing's gonna go together in three main parts.

*Crop-top yellow saltin for the top of the dress.
*Two squares of fabric for the yellow flared bit sewn on after.
*Elasticated 'skirt' for the navy netting.

I finished the top one today... Hopefully I'll get the yellow flares done later on this/next week, and the netting..
Myeh, I'll have to do that by hand, so whenever I think I can dare try cramming ten metres of the stuff onto a metre of elastic..

I'm not going to do anything on her right now, not until my exams are through, but it's encouraging to see the yellow and navy fabric sat there grinning at me excitedly. XD
