@Littlegeeky thank you! You were amazing as Mai! Definitely up for wearing again, I want to remake half of Zuko as he was super rushed and tatty. Also wanna do Adult Zuko!

That is an amazing Zuko cosplay! and I love the fire fan! What material did you use for the fire fan? I'm planning on one something like that.

Armour times (Posted 6th August 2012)

Got round to starting the armour today, have been having bad sweats about this as whenever I tried before it all looked like it was gonna go wrong.
Though after persevering and cracking out the craft foam I have achieved success!
I had completely forgotten what a wonderful medium it is to work with. I managed to crack it all out within about 10-20 minutes.
Now it just needs spraying and painting!
Still loads more to do for Zuko though.

Progress (Posted 3rd August 2012)

OKay, so with a week and a half to go I finally cracked on with making Zuko.
I managed to bash out the main top coat in a day, and have since done the bias taping, belt and trousers.
It started out looking very Visery's esque what with the black bodice and wine red sleeves, but since adding gold and the trousers it feels a lot more like Zuko XD.
