| Toby the Dinosaur from webcomic People I Know. Papier-mache head worn with regular clothes. The mouth will be the vision slit, and will have black nylon mesh (probably old tights) fixed inside. Toby is normally depicted with both eyes on the same side of his head, but I'm taking artistic licence and putting them either side in the transition to 3D. | |

This is awesome!! Love it
Thanks. It was completely worth it for the cartoonist's reaction. He took a pic, and posted it on his blog while we were at his stall.
a great costume and what a great story with it! i love the sense of humour you have about some of your stuff, its brilliant x
Cheers! I'm slowly coming around to wanting to do "fun" characters over "cool" or "sexy" characters.
i'm all for fun characters. its funny because in terms of my cosplay i do like my 'cool' characters. but my boyfriend HATES that every time we go to a fancy dress party i go as a stupid male character. i've done donald stott from vic reeves big night out, michael palins gumby from monty pythons flying circus! i think he's so pleased i'm finally feeling confidence to cosplay where i feel i can do the cooler characters.
I had to Google Donald Stott, because it been so long since Smell Of, but OMG! I can see why your BF was a bit awkward! XD
Did anyone recognise you? Was it hilarious amounts of fun seeing people's reactions?
This is so freaking adorable!
So cute! Brilliant work on the headpiece there, it's perfect! :D
