| This is -finally- complete, just in time for May expo! The wig was bought from Ebay, cut and styled by me. (Apparently I can cut a straight fringe just fine!) The costume itself bought from a cosplay.com user and I had it altered to fit me. (It took several trips to the tailors but I think it's finally done...!). I ended up buying two pairs of shoes for this. Neither of them roller-skates as I was unsure about the rules on Skating around Excel! One pair of pink flat trainers/plimsolls. And (because I'm mad) a pair of pink and white heels. I figured I'll wear the heels and change into the flats when my feet start to kill. (Lucky boyfriend gets to carry them!). Originally I was gonna do a prop tray with drink cups super-glued on and painted to look like they have liquid inside, but then I thought maybe I'd just bring an empty tray, since that would be easier to carry around without stuff sticking out of it. I might still do this in future, but for this expo I don't think so since I'm having to lug all this down to London! | |
