Description
I had some scrap fabric left over that matches this costume and I have my Vivi wig. Really the characters I'd like to cosplay from Star Driver would be President or Manticore but I can't be bothered without a group. So instead I'll settle for Fish Girl instead to make convenient use of fabric. The dress was made with white stretch poplin and some mint satin. I used a corset pattern for the bust and took that up then two circle skirts for form the base of the dress. I was going to do button holes to loop the neck ribbon through but it was more subtle to just slice some holes in with a stitch picker. The neck bow is hand stitched into place so it won't come undone. I used an extra metre for the waist ribbon as this cosplay was always intended to use as a tester for my underwater camera so I wanted the longer ribbon to have to float in the water. I'll cut it for a maiden shoot with NavigatorxNami The underwater photos were taken by Thomas. If anyone would like to do an underwater shoot, I'm more than happy to take photos for you.
