| I wore this one for the first Guinness World Record attempt. Street Fighter was the first game I ever played, and I like Chun Li's outfit a lot. At first I was going to buy some gothic spiked bracelets, but they just weren't big enough - Chun Li's are really oversized, massive sharp pillars of death! So I ended up making them with paper mache and varnish - keeping it simple. ;) The thing I'm missing is her sash. It's a plain white belt, but I feel like it would have made the costume look a little more accurate. Dancing in those shoes is a nightmare. If I ever re-use this costume, I'll take the time to look for some knee-high white boots without the platform. It's difficult to find boots without some kind of heel. Hers also have laces, so there are a couple of ways I'd like to shape this up if I ever wear it again. | |
