Update and repair (Posted 7th August 2010)

I have decided this will be my outfit for the Amecon Ball...albeit a slightly different version, which is also in the mutality artbook.

I am looking to do a version wearing just the coat with a small crown.
I have repaired all my hideous handdone applique with beautiful heat'n'bond applique! YAY! and soon will be adding resin casted gems...once they're made.

Days of Blitz and Spack! (Posted 3rd August 2009)

Well I had done the basics of Lelouch up and till yesterday and after my initial spack out I thought things might actually go fine. And it was despite my fears when looking at other peoples versions on Deviant Art, it was!

I have been on a Cosplay blitz the past day or so, hoping to continue this soon as it's now less than two weeks to go and there is MUCH to be done lols.

I have done the belt yesterday minus the gems which should arrive soon, and the two scarves. Or at least started them, I came upon a halt whilst trying to applique the beauty that is the golden eyes with wings onto them. They are so pretty and yet sooooo impossible to do as they are so damn fiddly. It has lead to many angry expletives and noises much reminiscent of an angry chewbacca spewing out of my mouth, but at last I have done 1 of 4!! Hopefully all will be done soon enough, the main bits that worry me now are THE HAT! and all the damned gold edging! *sighs*

*back to the Blitz!*

OH DEAR GOD! (Posted 4th July 2009)

Yes I have come to the realisation of what I let myself in for with this costume....well I think I have, I have a odd feeling that I will have an even further realisation when i actually start making it.

I have come up with one or two ideas for different parts, like how to make the EPIC HAT! from the Artbook version.
Thankfully not much of the outfit is looking that different from the normal, a bit of colour changing but overall its the same.

Wells I has about 4 metres of lovely white fabric to be getting on with for now, making the coats! woot...Im being cheeky and thinking will make the undershirt and trousers out of old bed sheets! muahahahaha!

I will be crying at the end of this cosplay...I can forsee it!
