| I wore Lust on Saturday morning at Kitacon 2012 Due to suitcase issues I won't be bringing her to MCM London EXPO October 2012. Lust is the leader of the Seven Deadly Sins, a group of artificially made homunculi, and is known to use other people to do her dirty work for her most of the time. She loves nothing more than watching other people fail, but at the same time hates to see her plans crumble. She also has a craving for blood, maybe because she has none of her own. Even though she seems to be head honcho of the group, she mainly hangs around her loyal parters in crime Gluttony and Envy. The other Sins are as follows: Greed, Pride, Sloth, and Wrath. Edward and Alphonse have met Lust on few occasions, though not formally, really-- she's always on the move, though, and seems to follow them as their journey progresses. Lust A homunculus is the result of someone attempting to perform a human transmutation (typically a resurrection) and failing. Scar was extremely surprised to encounter Lust, since she bears a striking resemblance to the love of his brother's life. It is known that his brother attempted human transmutation--with disastrous results. Though it's not certain at first, it's assumed that this woman had befallen to some tragedy and that Scar's brother attempted to use human transmutation to bring her back, with Lust as the result. Later, this was confirmed. | |

Well the end had to come sometime... (Posted 9th April 2012) Finished the red markings on both the sleeves and gloves using two tubes of 3D red paint! Looks really authentic painting them on by hand ;) I'll be wearing Lust on Saturday morning of Kitacon, I won't be wearing her the afternoon or night time. I'm in the Saturday afternoon masquerade as Fina from Skies of Arcadia and I'm Hitomi from Dead or Alive on the Saturday night ^_^ Bring on Kitacon! Please come find me for photos, I'll be the almost 6ft curvy Lust XD |

Almost ready! (Posted 4th April 2012) The dress is finished!!!! *Jumps for joy*..... well except for the arm red markings :P I need to do that this weekend! Otherwise Lust is ready ;) The front slit of the dress is perfect too! I may not do the arm slits as it ruins them being kept up >_< and they are supposed to be part of the dress, so I have put it together this way. I have a template to make for the tattoo so I can draw around like a stencil, otherwise I have done a make-up test ^_^ |

Dress coming together nicely! (Posted 14th March 2012) Dress is coming together really well! Just need to sew it together and add the chest detail, I have 3D red paint to add the arm detail. Otherwise the dress is ready. Also need to research a way of adding the tattoo... |

A flick of the hair... (Posted 8th February 2012) My wig arrived and it is beautiful! I just need to add a couple of front curls and its ready :) The dress i want to make from scratch with the gloves attached as it is in the anime ^_^ and to top it off im watching the original FMA series from the start to get her character right! |

The original FMA series isn't the accurate one, just to let you know. It's Brotherhood that follows the correct storyline. However, Lust's character is the same in both, as is her outfit, so it won't make any major differences.

Anyway, the wig is absolutely LOVELY and the boots are brilliant!!! I can't wait to see it finished.
Yeah don't worry I'm aware of that, I just want to do this version first as I have yet to watch the brotherhood series ;) the only difference is the lipstick really as its red in brotherhood :) thanks for the comment and glad you like my booties!
Oh and glad you like the wig too! I thought it really suit her :)

Thanks so much guys! I really went to town on detailing this right, I spent ages finding the right material too and had to customise a dress pattern! The chest area has interfacing to stand out like Lust's does and there is a bodice underneath to structure the dress right.
Thanks so much for noticing the effort! :D it's one of those costumes that you could in theory turn out fairly easily, but I always wanted the structure and detail to be perfect!
Will have lots of photos from Kitacon where she will make her debut on Saturday morning! I'm also looking at MCM London Expo for a whole day as her and to be in the masquerade as her brotherhood version with other FMA peeps ^_^
