jacket progress (Posted 1st May 2012)

So i've mostly finished the jacket, i just gotta paint on the detail on the sleeves and finish sewing the tail and the last spike on.
i also gotta add some ribon to tie the front :) then i'm done with the cosplay and just gotta make the flower for my hair :)

ok so shte dress is finished now as is the jacket mostly. i just need to add the spikes and tail to the back.
all that i need to do after that is make the flower for my head :D

O so i finished the basics of my dress nd sewed the skirt and top together, then i had the horrib;e task of fitting the zip. thankfully that went well :D
now all i gotta do is deside on the hemming and make the jacket :D
for now , heres progress.

Start of my dress (Posted 27th March 2012)

So i went out and brought all the material needed to make this cosplay.
shortly after that i began to work on the top half of my dress.
i wanted the crisscross effect ont hen front of my dress so i had to figure out how to sew it all into the hemming and make it look nice and neat, it was one of the hardest things i've had to do for a while ^^;;
anyway heres how it looks so far :D

Claws, tail and spines. (Posted 24th February 2012)

I began cutting out the foam shapes for my claws, tail and spines.
I'm pretty pleased so far. hey seem to have come out alright dispite the fact I really hate foam ^^

all i gotta do is cover the claws in purple material and make a sorta pillow case for the spines and tail when i get the green fabric.

Where to start. ....... (Posted 12th February 2012)

First of all i need to figure out what shade of green i'm gonna use. its surprising how the colour can really count in a cosplay huh.
I've also been working on some idea's of how to make the claws and spines and need to try out a few ideas. i'll update some more when i make alittle progress. :D
