Description
That's one of my dreamed costumes~ and my first 'adventure' with armor, really huge challenge... It doesn't look like I'd imagined it, I'm not satisfied with the result but on the other side I'm kinda proud of myself I'm so stupid I want to make this costume XDDD Of course sewing kimonos was the easiest task and I love them, especially the white one with brown-gold clouds. The most difficult was making the "breastplate". It's made with wonderflex and gesso. I fought very long time to get the right shape @_@ and even now it's not perfect... and I met with great problem - how to install armlets on breastplate... Piece on her hand and ornament on the sword are also made with wonderflex. I was very careful while making it to keep proportions and I like the result ^^ The sword is make with wood and pur foam. It look heavy but it's light despite the fact that it has about 200cm~ I also used EVA foam (armlets, shin-guards and other) Dunno if I should write something more... I saw a costume that looks very much like this one in the Marketplace - I hope you're not thinking of selling such a lovely cosplay. (If I had made it, I would be so proud I'd keep it forever!)
