Ranmao and Joker from Kuroshitsuji worn at May Expo 2010! Ranmao- Tsupo Joker- Yukioto This was actually the first costume that I'd made totally from scratch! (and second ever cosplay) Dress, Bolero, underbust corset, ankle bangles, wig and weapons all made by me (with a little help on the weapons from Yukioto)! I was naughty and purposely didn't put Ranmao's butterfly pattern on her dress. I really hated that part of the design (as well as my super-shiny fabric) and decided not to ruin the effort I'd put into the dress with something I wouldn't be happy with! The corset is boned (though I should have made it slightly longer)and the wig is a mixture of the base wig, extensions and painted fimo to hold the shapes. We rewore this to the Barbican 'Japanese Fashion' event after being invited to showcase the costume- I found much better shoes and Joker managed to finish his waistcoat and other details.
