| Aimed at being a tester project for latex mask making, I figured he'd be the best character to try simply because he's supposed to look horrifically freaky, so if I mess up somewhat it doesn't matter too much. This did involve putting my life in the hands of my friends while they covered my head in alginate and plaster and I had to breathe through a tube for two hours.. I believe I've had better ideas in my life ;) Still, this is the end result, enjoy. | |

hey turned out awesome! just wondered where did u get ur latex from cos i think i may experiment making a ryuk from death note mask ^^
kimura sensei! lawl. he's so creepy... nice, looks awesome!
after they cast your head.... how did you get out?!
I put up a tutorial at http://www.cosplayisland.co.uk/tutorials/latexmask if you haven't seen it already, basically you plan ahead so the negative can split in half, and reform once off your head. You do the front and back halves with clingfilm between them, and the alginate splits apart easily enough with the back of a butter knife.
ROFLMAO LEGENDARY I SEEN THIS AT EXPO haha loved it to bits
