| Speed Racer is awesome. When I saw the film I fell in love with it, and after that, I made my way through watching the cartoon as well. I decided I wanted to cosplay someone from it, and settled on Trixie - what better way to show my love for Speed Racer, eh? :B Because this looked like such a simple cosplay, I decided that I wanted to make everything that I could! I made the shirt and hairbow, which were easy, and then I made the very first pair of trousers that I've sewn myself from scratch. Considering I wanted to throw them across the room several times, I am really pleased with how they turned out in the end. The wig was from eBay and the shoes were bought, and were both presents from my boyfriend. :) Sorry, no complete photos yet! I'm eventually making a Speed Racer cosplay for my boyfriend too, so we will hopefully get photos together! | |
