"Son. If you are reading this, it means you are now strong enough to lift the safe. You are now a man."

Most expensive costume I've made so far... looks like I'm going to be cosplaying a lot of Trolls with pointy fangsies.

Though I don't follow homestuck I was told by my friends at kita (who were also dressed as trolls) said that your ancestor group was amazing :D

I'm sorry I wasn't more talkative either, the costume was killing me a bit after five hours XD I hope we helped you guys with your nerves though :) I still feel bad for taking cuts >.<;;

Painting (Posted 22nd January 2012)

Glasses and ear tips painted. Since i took this picture i have pretty much completed the glasses; they just need a wee bit of touching up and I'm painting the horns atm. As I'm doing Neophyte Redglare first @ Kita, the horns are Longer than Terezi's.

Staff Progress Part 3 (Posted 15th January 2012)

Continued taping until done. Completed cane base, just needs the head put together, stuffed, put on and the little bit to cover the join.

Staff Progress Part 2 (Posted 15th January 2012)

Whilst waiting for the paint to dry on the main body of the staff, I spent some time working out the pattern for the scalemate head to cover the cane handle.

Staff Progress Part 1 (Posted 15th January 2012)

Started out by gluing a polystyrene ball to the end of the walking stick and then padded/covered the base to make it con safe, hide the join and also because the end of her cane is slightly built up. I also padded all the joints with craft foam so that the sharpish edges were covered and it also makes it less usable as a weapon. Then I began the process of winding electrical tape around the cane; again for padding and to make it the correct colours.

Senator Lemon Staff (Posted 4th January 2012)

OK, so that's not really its name, but this is the base stick for Redglare's dragon head staff. I'm going to cover the handle in plushie dragon head and pad the stick with foam and electrical tape in the correct colours to make it as con safe as possible. I wanted to get one that comes apart like Terezi's blind cane for both accuracy and transportation purposes.

Ear tips (Posted 4th January 2012)

I now have 3 totally differet brands of basically the same ear tips. Just to mix things up a bit, yo. Will be painted grey, pretty easy tbh.

Base Specs (Posted 4th January 2012)

These will need a bit of modding/painting and the lenses popped out and replaced with red acetate. I have an issue with nickel/cheapy metal that a lot of glasses/costume jewellery is made out of, so I need to wear plastic frames. My own irl glasses are plastic for this reason.

Bag Material (Posted 4th January 2012)

Same idea, different colour/apparel.

Jacket Material (Posted 4th January 2012)

Because red leather is too expensive, so I bought a coat to chop up instead.

Gloves (Posted 4th January 2012)

I cooooouuuld have made some out of the sleeves of the leather jacket I bought to massacre for this... except I'm lazy. They are gorgeous though.

Put on your red shoes and dance the blues... (Posted 4th January 2012)

These boots were made for walking... about ten paces before the vintage plastic heel tips cracked in half... so merrily to the cobblers I go. They're damn comfy and sexy though. Well 80's.
