| I picked this last minute costume for a group of reapers for London Expo and why not take the piss out of myself by wearing something so utterly ridiculous. I chose Higashizawa over other characters after he uttered the words "the proof is in the pudding... the pudding of their DOOM!". He really does have the most stupid lines in the game along with Beat. - The hoodie was made from a H&M top, with pockets and hood removed, painted using a thinned out acrylic and with grey sweatshirt material strips sewn on top and quilted. The sides were bulked a little with wadding. - Jeans were just a pair of old boyfriend cut slacks from GAP, dyed darker. - Shoes were old van skater trainers just painted with acrylic mixed with latex. - Wings were two sheets of funky foam sandwiching a frame of wire so that the wings could be bent to a required angle. They were glued together, painted with acrylic and then PVA and had straps attached that were inserted through holes in the back of the hoodie and tied under my arms to give 'invisible wings' which could be removed during the day. - The bling was made from papermache pulp (it forms a dough when mixed with water and is fantastic for sculpting) painted first with copydex, then enamel and finally a few layers of PVA glue with rhinestones glued on and chains attached using hooks. - Glowing eye was given to me from an old costume by Delusional <3 I wasn't a big fan of this costume, I felt weird wearing it so it won't make another outing. | |
