Description
Lieutenant Charles Christophe Davenport is somewhat of a prodigy, passing through the British Army academy with flying colours and destined for great things. However, to distance himself from his father, a celebrated war veteran and General, he opted to take a position on board the HMS Valkyrie. As the Valkyrie's presence is taboo (state-sanctioned piracy is often carried out in this world, but rarely open) taking this posting was a form of rebellion against the path his father had chosen for him. Davenport is trained especially well to lead a platoon of twenty men on the Valkyrie for use in boarding missions. Davenport wears a standard military uniform, the red coat and white pith helmet as standard, but with some modifications. As they are using chloroform, himself and his platoon are all equipped with breathing apparatus and as such are often seen wearing lower-face masks when on board an enemy vessel. He carries a large gun capable of firing chloroform canisters as well as larger shells when the need arises but also uses a pistol as a sidearm. Davenport is a prankster when he is off duty and highly sarcastic, has a very dry wit and is considered funny and generally liked by all. When on duty he is the model soldier and extremely well disciplined! One of my favourite costumes i've done, took a fair while to make but I like how it turned out.
