| IWILLSTOPADDINGCOSPLAYSONEDAY But damn if I'm not in the most Yu-Gi-Oh of moods lately. Here's something to counter Kaiba's ego. This cosplay is going to be expensiiiive. I'm determined to get a Duel Disk, which will set me back around £30 and the wig even moreso. At least all I'll have to sew is the Slyfer Red jacket (which is bound to be harder to make then it looks. THINGS ALWAYS ARE *glares at Link*) I admit that The Bonds Beyond Time Abridged movie is what made me even think of cosplaying Jaden, but it also made me start watching the GX anime. And Jaden is adorable ;___; Worn at Kitacon VI as well! I'm kind of fed up with that collar, so I'm gonna tear it up and make it again. Damn thing flops all the time, and I will no longer deal with that seeing as I can tell Jaden is going to be worn a LOT, he's so fricken easy and fun to cosplay! | |

Update-o (Posted 24th March 2012) DEATH TO THOSE WHITE PARTS. I've spent HOURS on them and I still haven't gotten to a part where I can sew 'em on the jacket base ;___; They do, however, make me feel like I've made some actual progress! Yay! So, I need food and I will eat it then I'll hopefully be able to sort out what needs sorting and then sewing it all on and calling it a night. Fingers crossed, anyway xP |

Fabric GET (Posted 13th March 2012) Whoop!I was pondering for a long time about whether I should get fabric for Jaden or Yuri first, and decided to get Jaden in the end that way I can get the jacket out of the way and have all the remaining time for Yuri. Alsooooo I was going to buy a Jaden deck, but I think I'm cutting it a bit close to buy from anywhere that isn't the UK, so I'm going to eBay some individual cards until I can buy the deck. I'm thinking... |

I bought my wig (Posted 15th January 2012) and it arrived mere days later. Also I'm currently wearing it. Adhbchebehfe I LOVE IT. It needs some fiddling and fixing, and I don't suit it as much as I thought I would, but DAMN <3 I was really nervous about buying it from ebay and looked at ALL OTHER JADEN COSPLAYERS who bought this wig and decided there was no other way around it, and they looked okay, so there I went. PLEASED 8D Ignore my face, I think this photo was taken not long after I woke up x_x |

Thoughts n' eBay (Posted 22nd November 2011) Jaden's not in progress yet, but have a journal! I somehow won an Academy Duel Disk on eBay the other day for around £10. I am still in shock, I really hope nothing's wrong with it! Needless to say though, I am exited for it to get here! I've been watching GX religiously for almost 2 weeks now and I'm almost done with the first season, and while watching it I've decided to do the younger, seasons 1-3 version of Jaden. The wig I plan on getting is more suited to young Jaden, the Duel Disk is a regular Academy one so it's accurate for that version of him, and I think I'll have more fun getting into his hyper-happy self than however he is in later seasons (which I know is not so happy >:). Still mega-exited! x3 |

Haha you know what I was almost considering Asuka/Alexis at one point for cosplaying but I haven't watched much of GX at all ^^; Although I do think Jaden is quite cute ^^ Also, after I watched bonds beyond time, I was somewhat considering Yusei XD Makes me really wanna do a pair cosplay! 8D Can't wait to see this! This'll be amazing on you! 8D
