| I NEED to make a dress. NEEEED. I keep seeing everyone's beautiful dress cosplays and I want in! xD Let's face it, I am long overdue to let that bit of girliness in me show itself in cosplay-form. What better way to do that then with Flonne in her new dress? Gyah, she is adorable and I have liked her ever since she first appeared on my TV screen <3 I really hope I can pull off her cuteness a little bit! xD This will require more make-up practice. I had an awesome time in Flonne and somehow survived the whole ball/party in it! I was BAKING. Finished cutting wig an hour before putting it on, so much anger at random strands not agreeing with me at the ball xD Also had to cut off the straps for the wings a re-sew them into the middle of the wings so that they would comply with my cape =B When I re-wear, I'll be fixing then headbow (lastminutejobdesu), adding the bottom layer of frill and adding the remaining three bows to the cape! 8D | |

Dem wings (Posted 4th August 2012) I left buying some waaay last minute, but I got some. Not perfect and I don't know if they're big enough, but they shall do! Hopefully when I rewear her, I can add some feathers onto 'em. |

Front panel + other parts (Posted 18th July 2012) Dis be the front panel! It's currently only (mostly) bondaweb'd on, I still need to sew it down. Also gotta make and sew on yellow bias at ze bottom of it and make the top part accurate. Note to self: use some more bonding crap to stiffen the top. Cape is the same as it was days ago....gotta add its ruffles and bows and blah. I still need to make ALL of the bows;; Shouldn't be too bad though, in theory. I might bring the fabric with me and fold them up and stuff while I'm in the states xD butIdoubtitorz |

I dunno what they're called, them poofy frilly sleeves! Bad shot of them though, poo. Ahh, but I love them <3 They're a biiit short but it doesn't really show/matter What needs doing: |

Wowza (Posted 14th July 2012) I'm shocked by how much I've gotten done in two days. I have all the pieces cut out except the sleeves and future ruffles. Later I should start and finish the front panel design and bias~ I'd wager I've spent...uh...5 hours on cutting/measuring/mathing/sketching so far. Not in that order! |

Staaaato! (Posted 13th July 2012) I've just started Flonne and have decided I AM LEAVING THE RUFFLES FOR LAST DEAR GOD X_X Celestia help me, I have never done ruffles before and my test methods were quite something xD Made me realize I can wait for them last as they'll take longer >_> I think I'm gonna stitch the hem of them blue though, to match the bows~ |
