Costume Information

Cost : £100-£150
Time Taken : 5 Months

This costume is an anthro of Giratina Altered Form. It isn't quite a Fursuit and not quite a Gijinka. The body was built onto an existing pair of grey trousers and a grey longline top and then I used fleece for the details.
The bits around the knees and elbows are stuffed sections as is the tail which attatches to a belt.
The head was made of foam with the back piece being stuffed and it has a moving jaw.
The wings are made from a combination of cardboard and foam board with straps made from black elastic. The spikes were made from sheets of card shaped into cones then stuffed with foam chips.

I chose to make Giratina because of seeing how awesome my friend's Rayquaza costume was and with me, when it comes to the legendary dragons it could only be Giratina.
This costume was very frustration to make and I had lots of problems with the head and the wings, the wings didn't come out as well I would have liked and time constraints meant some things had to be cut at the end such as stuffed torso sections.

Wearing it was really good though and I had a lot of interest in it. The time and frustration was definately worth it.
