Progress! (Posted 12th January 2012)

My tail came today! I need a belt so I can actually attach it (which isn't a huge issue because a belt will also help with my issue of my trousers constantly falling down xD) So basically all I'm missing is the hat, which means theoretically my costume is in wearable condition! I'll try and get some test shots done this weekend.

Obviously I will still try and get the hat done at some point, but at least with everything else in place I can decide to wear her in the meantime (eyeing up Memorabillia/Birmingham Comic Con here)

My tail came today! Okay so. Good news, I have the trousers, shoes, gloves and make-up. Horns are ordered. Hat still needs dyeing (me=wuss) and I need to make the tail.

I also have two coat options (long story short: bought one on eBay, found out it was sent to wrong address, got a different one but now I can get hold of the original), only thing is I'm not sure either of them is long enough. I'll have to get some pictures up at some point.

First steps (Posted 30th October 2011)

So not a huge amount of progress for Nepeta today - I did see a coat that would have worked if it had come in my size (and one that would have worked if it had been the right colour...green just isn't in right now). I also bought a hat that I can hopefully dye and add the detailing onto since my sewing skills are naught.

On a less necessary note, I bought a dry-erase board that I'm hoping to turn into her drawing tablet - which means I need to hunt down the appropriate pages in the comic at some point, joy. And I bought nail varnish, which will do for her and Terezi (and Feferi, eventually) which is good.
